1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Avanish Samala ("I", "me", or "my") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of my website and mobile applications (including "Swypr", "Bhāv", "Bhav Harmonium", "The Daily Roast", "Tic Tac Toe", "Empire", "Resistance: Covert Uprising", and "wspr: anonymous thoughts").

2. Information Collection

Website: My personal website does not collect strictly personal data. It may use standard analytics tools to understand traffic patterns, which are anonymized.

Apps & Games: My applications are designed with privacy in mind.

  • Swypr: Photos are processed locally on your device. I do not upload or store your photo library on any external server.
  • Bhāv: User preferences and favorites are stored locally or via iCloud (if enabled).
  • Bhav Harmonium: Instrument settings and appearance preferences are stored locally on your device so the app can remember your last configuration. Audio is generated on your device; the app does not access your microphone or record your playing. No account or internet connection is required to play. The app does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not transmit your settings or playing activity to me or to an app-operated server. It does not provide its own cloud sync; device backups are managed through your Apple settings.
  • The Daily Roast: Timer data is local.
  • Empire: User data and game sessions are managed primarily client-side or handled ephemerally. I do not track personal identifying information through the game.
  • Resistance: Covert Uprising: All game data and sessions are handled locally on your device. No user data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
  • wspr: anonymous thoughts: All posts, comments, reactions, and votes are tied to an anonymous user ID created silently. I do not collect, track, or store any personal identifying information. Posts are ephemeral and expire after 24 hours.

3. Data Usage

Any data processed by my apps remains on your device or in your personal iCloud container. I do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

4. Third-Party Services

My apps may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you, such as Apple's built-in metrics (which are opt-in via iOS settings).
